The Ebor/Dorrigo Plateau is well known for having some all of the best trout waters in Australia. Anglers will find the fighting qualities of our fresh water trout both challenging and enjoyable.
When visiting the neighbouring trout hatchery you can view wild trout weighing up to 3.5 kgs.

Daily Activities
The day consists of early morning and late afternoon stream, lake and river fishing catering for all levels of experience. The middle of the day covers fishing and casting techniques.
Guests spend their days fishing on private streams and lakes which are inaccessible to the general public with a highly acclaimed and experienced guide.
Our Head Guide – David Thompson
David has over 30 years fly-fishing experience and has been guiding in the Ebor/.Armidale area for 15 years. He began the art of fly-fishing at age 13 on the tricky Monaro streams around Bombala in southern NSW, and has since chased trout in England, Ireland, Scotland and New Zealand.
Since re-locating to Armidale in 1992, he has pursued trout and Australian bass on fly in the local area, and has assisted many beginners to land their first trout as well as guiding experienced fly-anglers on local trout streams.

Fly Fishing Guide - John Galletly
John has spent the past 50 years in the Armidale area of New England and knows the streams well. He has fly fished the top of Australia for Barra and is an experienced fisherman in general. He has 10 years experience in fly fishing around the Ebor area.
